クシュシトフ・ウディチコ（1943年ポーランド生れ）は、都市やそこに住む人々が抱える様々な問題をテーマに、世界各地で作品を発表し続ける現代美術作家である。
1999年8月、広島市の原爆ドームの前で、日本では初めてのウディチコの「パブリック・プロジェクション」が行われた。現在の広島に住む被爆者、在日外国人、若者を含む14人の証言者の発言とともに、彼らの手が映像としてドームの下に投影された。
このドキュメンタリーは、約1年間に渡ったこのプロジェクトの制作を振返ると同時に、ウディチコの作品に対する取り組みや、彼の社会を見つめる視点に迫る。

Krzysztof Wodiczko (born in Poland, 1943) is a public artist who has added a critical dimension to the problems of urban life through his work in cities all over the world.

In August 1999, his first "Public Projection" in Japan was held in front of the A-Bomb Dome. Motion images of the hands of fourteen people, including survivors of the atomic bomb (Japanese as well as Koreans) and the youth of Hiroshima, were projected upon a river embankment below the Dome along with their voices.

This documentary follows the development of this yearlong project in Japan and focuses on the artist's method of work as well as his view on art and society.
